Violin, 2022 SF Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition Winner

Eunseo Oh, a 17-year-old senior at Lynbrook High School, currently serves as concertmaster of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, and is the 2022 SFSYO Concerto Competition winner. Now in her fourth season with the SFSYO, she has been playing the violin since she was eight years old. Ms. Oh was a first-place winner at Pacific Musical Society’s 2018 Competition, and she won a grand prize at the 2016 Korean Times Annual Youth Music Competition. She has participated in many performances and concerts, including Junior Bach Festivals in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

 Ms. Oh is also a member of the Young Chamber Musicians program in Burlingame. As the violinist of the Aveta Trio, she won the gold medal at the Junior String Division at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. She has participated in NYO-USA, Music@Menlo, and Bowdoin International Music Festival. Previously a student of Ian Swensen, she currently studies with Zhao Wei at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division.
