A rich blend of philanthropy, volunteerism, and social connection, our volunteer Leagues have played a crucial role at the Symphony for over a half-century. League members meet regularly 6-10 months of the year with their paid membership. Brought together by a shared love of music, volunteer league members take part in fun activities and Symphony concerts as well as monthly or semi-monthly meetings that support the Symphony’s fundraising, community programming and audience development work. League members also enjoy a variety of benefits, including music and education programs at their meetings, discounted Symphony tickets and advance notice of special events such as our Opening Night and Lunar New Year celebrations.
Volunteering is philanthropy in action: a gift to the San Francisco Symphony of your time and expertise. Learn more about year-round opportunities to get involved at the Symphony, whether by serving as an usher, organizing community concerts, helping out in the office, or taking part in a 50-year tradition by joining a Volunteer League.
