Biography

JIMMY CHAN is a percussionist in the San Francisco Bay Area. A native of Hong Kong, he served as Associate Percussionist with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and now performs regularly with the San Francisco Symphony, One Found Sound, and across the Bay in Berkeley and Oakland. He is a graduate of Colburn Conservatory and San Francisco Conservatory, having studied with Jacob Nissly, Jack Van Geen, Ted Atkatz, and Sam Walton.
