San Francisco Symphony Volunteer Council

The Volunteer Council is a dedicated community of volunteers who give their time, passion, and skills to promote and support the San Francisco Symphony. Through their service, they help strengthen engagement across the broader Bay Area, building audiences among youth, families, and seniors, and support Symphony events, programs, and concerts.

Active Volunteer Council Membership

Active Members are individuals who actively support the San Francisco Symphony through volunteer service, engagement, and philanthropy. Members are required to serve on at least one (1) committee, attend meetings and events, make an annual charitable contribution, and are encouraged to participate in group outings to Symphony performances and programs.

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION

1. Pay Active Member Dues ($200).
2. Annual Fund ($100): Visit Donor Membership page, to learn more about donor membership benefits.

Legacy Volunteer Council Membership

Legacy Membership is designed for long-serving volunteers who wish to step back from active service while staying connected to the San Francisco Symphony volunteer community. Legacy Members are not required to serve on committees but are welcome to attend Volunteer Council social events, participate in group outings to Symphony performances, and support the Symphony through charitable giving.
