Join the San Francisco Symphony for its 27th annual Lunar New Year celebration and welcome the Year of the Fire Goat with family and friends. This beloved tradition honors the Asian cultures that enrich our vibrant Bay Area community and brings generations together to ring in the new year.

The evening begins with lively preconcert festivities featuring cultural performances, traditional activities, crafts, fortune readers, and a special goat petting zoo, followed by a vibrant concert celebrating Lunar New Year traditions through music. The celebration culminates in an elegant banquet featuring auspicious dishes and festive traditions shared with family and friends.

Proceeds from Lunar New Year support the Symphony’s artistic, education, and community programs, helping music inspire and connect people across the Bay Area.

*Reservations must be received by December 10 to be listed on the event program and signage.

** Please note that guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian to attend the Lunar New Year Banquet. The legal guardian assumes all responsibility for the minor as it relates to food and beverage service.
