Mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor’s 2018-19 season features works of Mahler with the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra, and the Houston, Kansas City, Chicago, Dallas, and BBC Scottish symphonies; the world premiere of Joby Talbot’s A Sheen of Dew on Flowers with the Britten Sinfonia at the Victoria and Albert Museum; her debut with the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in the title role of John Adams’s The Gospel According to the Other Mary—a role that was written for her—under the baton of the composer; the West Coast premiere of Bryce Dessner’s Voy a Dormir with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra; and Peter Lieberson’s Neruda Songs with the Saint Louis Symphony and the Colorado Symphony. Ms. O’Connor makes her debut with the Boston Symphony in Bernstein’s Songfest, returns to the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a Stravinsky Festival, and assays the title role of Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia with Boston Lyric Opera. She made her San Francisco Symphony debut in 2008.

Ms. O’Connor’s discography includes a Grammy award-winning recording of Osvaldo Golijov’s Ainadamar and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with Franz Welser-Möst and the Cleveland Orchestra.
