Biography

(September 15 panelist) directs the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign, which works to replace coal with clean energy by mobilizing grassroots activists in local communities. Ms. Hitt was listed in 2015 on POLITICO’s list of fifty visionaries transforming American politics. She is also co-host of the climate storytelling podcast No Place Like Home.
