Favorite composers: J.S. Bach, Mozart, R. Strauss, Monteverdi, Steve Reich
Favorite vocal works: Bach’s cantatas; Mozart’s operas; madrigals; beautiful and interesting contemporary choral works
When I’m not working, I enjoy: Seeing films; hiking; time with my family
Recent reading: (Highbrow) Brunelleschi’s Dome, by Ross King; (lowbrow) The Game of Thrones series, by George R. R. Martin

Favorite things to do in the Bay Area: Hiking, eating at great restaurants. I like going to the beach and knowing that we are on the edge of one continent.
