Narrator

KEITH DAVID is a classically trained, Emmy award-winning actor. Upcoming credits include the Netflix series From Scratch and Jordan Peele’s film Nope, and he previously starred in Greenleaf for the Oprah Winfrey Network and Black as Night for Blumhouse Television and Amazon Studios. On the big screen, he co-starred with Chadwick Boseman in 21 Bridges, as well as in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, Requiem for a Dream, Night School, Tales from the Hood 2, Crash, Platoon, There’s Something About Mary, and John Carpenter’s They Live and The Thing. His narration work has earned him three Emmys for Ken Burns’s Jackie Robinson, The War, and Unforgivable Blackness—The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson. He has also lent his voice to the animated shows Adventure Time, Bojack Horseman, Rick & Morty, Spawn, and Gargoyles, as well as to games in the Halo, Mass Effect, and Mortal Kombat series. Born and raised in New York, Mr. David enrolled in New York’s High School of the Performing Arts and continued his studies at the Juilliard School.
