Choreography

Joshua Bergasse (Choreography) choreographed On the Town on Broadway, for which he received an Astaire Award, as well as Drama Desk, Outer Critic Circle, and Tony award nominations. Mr. Bergasse’s other credits include Gigi on Broadway, Little Me and It’s A Bird…It’s A Plane at City Center Encores!, Cagney (for which he received Drama Desk, Outer Critics, and Astaire award nominations), Bomb-Itty of Errors and Captain Louie off-Broadway, and, regionally, Hazel (director/choreographer), Up Here, Bull Durham, Secondhand Lions, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Carousel, and The World Goes Round. Since 1998 he has been a member of the Broadway Dance Center (BDC) faculty, where he is the artistic director for the Musical Theater Performance Project. He received an Emmy for his work as choreographer on NBC’s Smash and he has also served as choreographer on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, and for Sinatra: A Voice for a Century with the New York Philharmonic on Live from Lincoln Center on PBS.
