THE SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY PRESENTS GREAT PERFORMERS
Drawing upon the vitality of Russian folk music, the spectacular Firebird was an instant success and put Stravinsky on the map as one of the period's most exciting and dynamic composers. Also on the program, Haydn's C major Cello Concerto featuring soloist Gautier Capuçon's "astonishingly beautiful" and "breathtaking" playing. (The Independent)

A Special Exhibit
The San Francisco Symphony continues their celebration of the centennial of Leonard Bernstein’s birth with this special exhibit, on display January 18 through February 28. Located on the First Tier Lobby, the exhibit examines the unique relationship between the Symphony and Bernstein as a conductor, composer, educator, activist, and friend.
