Vocalist

Megan Hilty is most recognizable for her portrayal of Ivy Lynn in NBC’s musical drama Smash. She followed up the series with a starring role on the NBC comedy Sean Saves the World. Ms. Hilty received critical acclaim for her performance in the role of Brooke Ashton in Roundabout Theater Company’s revival of Noises Off. She won a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for Favorite Featured Actress in a Play, and was nominated for a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Drama League Award. Most recently, Ms. Hilty starred as Patsy Cline in Lifetime TV’s movie Patsy & Loretta. Other television credits include recurring roles on Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, The Good WifeBraindead, and Louie, among others. Ms. Hilty regularly performs with orchestras and symphonies across the country. She makes her debut under San Francisco Symphony auspices in this concert. Her Carnegie Hall debut came in a sold-out performance of her acclaimed solo show. She recently released Megan Hilty Live at the Café Carlyle, a live album comprised of songs from her recent concert tour, and a Christmas album called A Merry Little Christmas with Megan Hilty. A native of Seattle, WA, Ms. Hilty moved to New York City after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University and soon after made her Broadway debut as Glinda in Wicked. She went on to perform the role in both the national tour and in Los Angeles.
