Lighting Design

David Holmes (lighting design) trained at the Theatre Royal, Glasgow, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His many credits include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (London); King John, The Gods Weep, and Days of Significance (Royal Shakespeare Company); Il Prigioniero, Gurrelieder, and Duke Bluebeard’s Castle for the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall and in Europe; La Serva Padrona and To Hell and Back (for Opera Faber at the Viana do Castelo opera festival, Portugal); A Taste of Honey, See How They Run, Pretend You Have Big Buildings, Cyrano de Bergerac, Harvey, and Roots (Manchester Royal Exchange); and Blood Wedding (South Bank).
