Overview

Join us for a celebration of Latin American music and culture including lobby installations by local artists. The dynamic concert program, conducted by Lina Gonzalez-Granados, features traditional music with contemporary works honoring the rich heritage of this ancient holiday. The event is curated by longtime collaborator Martha Rodríguez-Salazar and is performed in collaboration with artistic partner Casa Círculo Cultural.

Concert Extras

Custom Food and Beverages: Celebrate Día de los Muertos with a custom drink inspired by the movie Coco. Kids can enjoy the Poco Loco, a sparkling, tropical, non-alcoholic fruit punch, while grownups can add rum or tequila for a Muy Loco margarita. Hot chocolate and Mexican hot chocolate, along with festive themed snacks for the holiday, including tamales and skull cookies, will also be available.

Peruse dedicated altars and festive art installations created by local artists for the San Francisco Symphony’s annual Día de los Muertos concert on Saturday, November 1. On display until November 12.
