In this one-of-a-kind event, MTT conducts Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and Respighi’s Roman Festivals. The program also includes the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and special guest appearances by vocalists Frederica von Stade, Sasha Cooke, Jessica Vosk, and Ben Jones, performing vocal works by MTT and other composers whose music he is closely associated with.
