Bianca Del Rio, otherwise known as Roy Haylock, is a dimple-cheeked, larger-than- life drag queen and outrageous comic who isn’t afraid to shock and offend. When it comes to insult comics, she is in a class by herself. Fierce, funny, and fabulous, she has sandblasted her name in the annals of pop culture on RuPaul’s Drag Race, winning its sixth season. A self-professed “clown in a gown,” she is quick to point out that she is the biggest joke of all.

Miss Del Rio starred in the films Hurricane Bianca, Hurricane Bianca 2: From Russia with Hate, and Hurricane Bianca 3 (filming this year). She recently completed her fifth comedy tour, Unsanitized, and published a book, Blame It On Bianca Del Rio: The Expert on Nothing with an Opinion on Everything. In 2019 she was the first drag queen to headline Carnegie Hall and Wembley Arena, and made her West End debut in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Dylan Mulvaney is an actress, comedian, and content creator. In March 2022, she began her video series, Days of Girlhood, on TikTok. The diary series, which documents her gender transition journey, quickly went viral. Her accounts across TikTok and Instagram have since amassed nearly a billion views and more than 10 million followers. In 2022 she was awarded the TikTok Trailblazer Award for the series, and several months later she was invited to the White House to speak with President Biden about trans rights. Pre-pandemic, Ms. Mulvaney played Elder White in The Book of Mormon musical, fresh out of college from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

In 2023 Ms. Mulvaney was honored with a series of awards including the Streamy Awards’ Breakout Creator, Queerty’s Groundbreaker Award, and Them’s Now Award. In addition to her many accolades she has earned this year through her platforms and activism, she has also been featured on Forbes’s Top Creator List, Rolling Stone’s Creator List, Allure’s 2023 A-List, Adweek’s Creative 100 list, and Fast Company’s Queer 50 List. Ms. Mulvaney has graced the covers of international publications such as The Cut, Them, and Attitude.

Artistically fluid performer Nikola Printz is a second-year Adler Fellow with San Francisco Opera, where their assignments this season include New Ofglen in The Handmaid’s Tale, Mercédès in Carmen, and Carmen in Carmen Encounter. Prinz participated in the Merola Opera Program in 2021 and 2022, made their mainstage debut in Strauss’s Die Frau ohne Schatten, and also performed as Musetta in the company’s production of Bohème Out of the Box.

This past season, they returned to Opera San José for Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Festival Opera for their acclaimed portrayal of Carmen, and sang the role of Billie Jean King in Opera Parallèle’s production of Birds and Balls. Recent career highlights include the title roles of Carmen and Dido and Aeneas with Opera San José, L’Italiana in Algeri with Opera Memphis, The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein with Pocket Opera, Freschi’s Ermelinda with Ars Minerva, Orfeo ed Eurydice with West Edge Opera, and The Rape of Lucretia with Green Mountain Opera Festival. They made their San Francisco Symphony debut in December 2022, and last July stepped in on short notice to sing Manuel de Falla’s The Three-Cornered Hat with the Orchestra.

Printz first established themself onstage in jazz and cabaret venues and is well-versed in genre bending crossover styles, creating the role of Velma Louise Cole in Boxcar Theater’s immersive Speakeasy SF. An accomplished aerialist, Printz has also developed and performed on spinning trapezes in both grand concert halls and smoky cabaret clubs.

Renée Lubin delighted audiences at Beach Blanket Babylon for more than 33 years and is the longest-running performer ever in a musical revue. Her work prompted a Certificate of Honor from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the mayor at the 55th anniversary of the Human Rights Commission (the Pleasant-Leidesdorff San Francisco Community Stalwart Award). She was also recognized and cited for her invaluable cultural contributions to the city with Beach Blanket Babylon.

Ms. Lubin has performed with Quincy Jones and appeared in For Colored Girls..., Jesus Christ Superstar, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Tintypes, They’re Playing Our Song, Eubie, Twelfth Night, and The Merry Wives of Windsor. A native San Franciscan who studied environmental biology at San Jose State University, she previously directed the San Francisco State University Jazz Choir as a vocal jazz coach.

For more than three decades, Sister Roma has been one of the most outspoken and highly visible members of San Francisco’s Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. From fighting on the front lines in the war against HIV/AIDS to taking on social media giant Facebook as the creator of the #MyNameIs movement, Roma has dedicated more than half her life to community service, activism, and fundraising. She is a proud accomplice to the trans and QBIPOC communities and an advocate for LGBTQ refuge and asylum. Rising to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Roma partnered with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, and the mayor’s COVI response team to create the Sisters’ #PracticeSafeSix mask campaign to raise awareness and promote health and wellness citywide.

But don’t get it twisted, this Sister is no Saint! Her colorful wit and sharp tongue have made Roma one of San Francisco’s favorite entertainers and emcees, landing her front and center on the main stages of SF Pride, Folsom Street Fair, and Easter in the Park, where she emcees the infamous Hunky Jesus Contest. A frequent guest on television and radio, Roma is blessed to travel the globe as an LGBTQ ambassador and event host, striving to uphold her Sisterly vows to expiate stigmatic guilt and promulgate universal joy.

Kylie Minono is a dedicated community organizer, both in and out of drag. As former Grand Duchess of the Grand Ducal Council of San Francisco, she has raised significant contributions to local charities. She is a sought-after performer throughout California and was crowned Miss Star Search in 2015. She first appeared with the San Francisco Symphony in the 2019 Holiday Gaiety show.

RORY DAVIS
Rory Davis is a choreographer and dance instructor based in San Francisco. As the cocreator of Baloney, he has choreographed hundreds of dances, demos, and happenings for shows, events, street fairs, and celebrations all over the country. He teaches a weekly dance and fitness class for all body types and levels of experience. As the resident choreographer for Peaches Christ Productions, he has staged numbers alongside Mink Stole, Jennifer Tilly, Cloris Leachman, and Pam Grier. He was also Cher’s bodyguard for a single fateful evening and they both lived.

MICHAEL PHILLIS
Michael Phillis has been making big gay art in San Francisco for the past 20 years. His original LGBTQ-themed plays and solo shows (D*Face, Dolls, Wish We Were Here, Sqream, The Hand that Rocks the Crawford, Patty From HR) have been produced in theaters, universities, festivals, and stuffy dark rooms all over the world. As the cocreator and director of Baloney, he has produced more than 35 shows in various cities.

His company Pop Culture Immersives combines nostalgia and experiential theater with original works like Thighs Wide Shut and Pride in Gotham.

Founded in 1978, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus sparked a nationwide LGBTQ choral movement after its first public performance at a vigil on the steps of City Hall following the assassinations of Sueprvisor Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone. Since then, SFGMC has been embedded in the fabric of San Francisco. It has soothed souls in pain, lifted spirits in triumph, and has remained a steadfast beacon of hope.
Under the leadership of Chris Verdugo and Jacob Stensberg, SFGMC has established a heightened level of performance standards bringing renewed audience and choral industry acclaim. Recent touring schedules, recordings, and outreach programs have broadened its impact and reputation in the communitywhile maintaining its signature blend of humor, personality, and groundbreaking performances. In 2019 SFGMC acquired a historic facility that has become its permanent home for rehearsals and offices. The building also serves as the Chan National Queer Arts Center, the first-ever community space for LGBTQ artists and arts organizations.
