Peaches is the alter-ego of Joshua Grannell, the writer and director of the feature film All About Evil. The award-winning dark comedy gore film stars Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Dekker, Cassandra Peterson, Mink Stole, and Peaches Christ herself. Joshua is also co-owner and creator of Into The Dark Productions, which produces immersive theatre events at the Old San Francisco Mint building, including Terror Vault. Peaches Christ has been featured in the films Milk, I am Divine, The Diary of a Teenage Girl, Mansfield 66/67, Tura!, Scream Queen: My Nightmare on Elm Street, You Don’t Nomi, and television shows Behind the Monsters and Queer for Fear.
Mezzo-soprano
This season, Barton made a dual role and company debut as Baba the Turk in The Rake’s Progress at Paris Opera and sang Azucena in the Metropolitan Opera’s Il trovatore. She also debuted as Nettie Fowler in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel with Boston Lyric Opera before appearing as Amneris in Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Aïda. She opened the Danish Radio Symphony season in Das Lied von der Erde and returned to the BBC Proms for Mahler’s Rückert-Lieder with BBC Symphony.
Vocalist
Jimmie Herrod is a musician from Tacoma, Washington. After finishing a bachelors in music composition and performance from Cornish College of the Arts, Mr. Herrod moved to Portland, where he received a master’s in music in jazz studies from Portland State University. During his time living on the West Coast, Mr. Herrod has also acted in a number of musicals in both Washington and Oregon. In 2017 he performed with electronic music duo Odesza on Seattle KEXP and provided background vocals for their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. That same fall he was introduced to Thomas Lauderdale, founding member of Pink Martini, and began touring with the group. Mr. Herrod has traveled with Pink Martini across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. In October 2019, Pink Martini featured him on a five-track EP Tomorrow. In 2021 Mr. Herrod was a contestant on America’s Got Talent where he was the recipient of Sofia Vergara’s Golden Buzzer, later ending in the top 10 acts of the season.
