THE SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY ANNOUNCES LIFTED RESTRICTIONS AND UPDATED SAFETY PROTOCOLS BEGINNING JUNE 24, 2021

SAN FRANCISCO, CA— The San Francisco Symphony today announces updated safety protocols, including increased audience capacities and lifting of most restrictions for live concerts at Davies Symphony Hall, in accordance with health and safety guidelines from the City and County of San Francisco. Beginning June 24, 2021, the San Francisco Symphony will return to full audience capacity for live performances in Davies Symphony Hall and no longer require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

The San Francisco Symphony has undertaken appropriate modifications to comply with current health and safety protocols provided by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. These measures include increased cleaning before performances and a no-touch or low-touch experience. As required by the City and County of San Francisco, a face covering is required for entry into Davies Symphony Hall and must be worn at all times. Face masks must completely cover nose and mouth and have ear loops or similar to hold in place. Gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable.

Tickets for San Francisco Symphony concerts can be purchased online via sfsymphony.org or by calling the SF Symphony Box Office at 415-864-6000.
