Television and Broadway Actor Joshua Dela Cruz Narrates the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra's Annual Performance of Peter and the Wolf, December 15

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Actor Joshua Dela Cruz joins the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra to narrate its annual performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, conducted by Wattis Foundation Music Director Radu Paponiu, on December 15. Dela Cruz is best known as the host of Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues and You! He is the third host of the Blue’s Clues franchise and the first Asian American to fill the role. He has also performed in Broadway and off-Broadway productions, including Aladdin, Here Lies Love, The King and I, and Merrily We Roll Along. 

The Youth Orchestra’s performance of Peter and the Wolf is an annual holiday favorite and has been a regular part of the Orchestra’s season since 1985. Past narrators have included Richard Dreyfuss, John Lithgow, Bobby McFerrin, Tom Kenny, Rita Moreno, Kathy Najimy, Linda Ronstadt, Sharon Stone, W. Kamau Bell, SF Symphony Music Director Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas, and the late Leonard Nimoy and Robin Williams, among many other lauded actors, comedians, musicians, and public figures.
