UPDATED HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION FOR EVERYONE AGES 12 AND UP TO ENTER DAVIES SYMPHONY HALL DURING THE 2021–22 SEASON

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Single tickets for the San Francisco Symphony’s 2021–22 season go on sale starting 8am via the Davies Symphony Hall box office on Tuesday, August 31 and will be available online and via phone beginning 10am the same day. Added holiday concerts include Holiday Soul, conducted by Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser and featuring vocalist Yolanda Adams and the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, December 8; A Merry-Achi Christmas with Mariachi Sol de México® de José Hernández, December 12 (the San Francisco Symphony does not appear in this performance); Holiday Gaiety, conducted and co-emceed by Edwin Outwater with Peaches Christ as co-emcee and featuring vocalists Jamie Barton, Alex Newell, and Jimmie Herrod, drag performers Coco Peru and Thorgy Thor, and the Fou Fou Ha dance troupe, December 17; The Nutcracker & The Mouse King, conducted by John Mauceri and narrated by Alan Cumming, December 21; A Cool Yule Christmas—Holiday Favorites of Frank & Ella, conducted by Steven Reineke and featuring vocalists Capathia Jenkins and Tony Desare along with the SF Symphony Chorus, December 22; Holiday Brass, conducted by Edwin Outwater, December 23; and New Year’s Eve with Darren Criss, conducted by Bruce Anthony Kiesling, December 31.
 
Other performances added to the San Francisco Symphony’s 2021-22 season schedule include Best in Brass featuring the SF Symphony brass section, March 6; Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story—Film with Live Orchestra, conducted by Christopher Dragon, March 18–19; Carmina burana featuring the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, directed by Ragnar Bohlin, May 6 (the San Francisco Symphony does not appear in this performance); and Airborne Toxic Event with the San Francisco Symphony, July 16.

Tickets for SF Symphony Chorus: Carmina burana are available now at sfsymphony.org. Tickets for all other individual concerts in the 2021–22 San Francisco Symphony season can be purchased beginning Tuesday, August 31 at 10am via sfsymphony.org or by calling the Davies Symphony Hall box office at 415-864-6000.

As a special celebration of Single Ticket on sale day, the first 200 people in line at the box office on August 31 will get to choose from an assortment of gourmet coffee drinks from Lady Falcon Coffee Club food truck.

HEALTH AND SAFETY UPDATE
The San Francisco Symphony requires proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 for everyone ages 12 and up entering Davies Symphony Hall—including patrons, performers, volunteers, and staff. Audience members under age 12 must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR test within 72 hours of the event, or antigen [rapid] test within 24 hours of the event). All patrons are required to wear a face mask while attending performances. These protocols are in accordance with policies enacted by the City and County of San Francisco and follow the advice of the San Francisco Symphony Health & Safety Task Force.
