Casting Call: 
Children’s Roles – Charlie Brown Holiday Production
We are seeking children actors and movers (ages 7–13) for voice and movement roles in our upcoming production. Please review the role descriptions below and access scripts for auditions here:  Dropbox Scripts

Audition Instructions:
Dancers: Wear jazz or ballet shoes.
Voice talent: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Roles Available:

Voice Actor Roles (Ages 7–13, must sound like a child):

• Charlie Brown – Thoughtful, sincere, often a bit anxious but always striving to do the right thing. He has a natural warmth and earnestness that audiences connect with.
• Linus – Gentle, wise beyond his years, and deeply caring. His security blanket is his trademark, but his thoughtful words carry the heart of the story.
• Lucy – Bold, outspoken, and funny. She’s sharp and witty, but her confidence makes her instantly lovable.

Movement / Dancer Roles:

• Sad Tree – A small, endearing role representing Charlie Brown’s little tree. We are looking for a girl with dance or movement experience. Must be no taller than 4’5”.
• Schroeder – A tween boy with basic dance or movement training. Musicality and presence are more important than advanced dance technique.

Timeframe:

Rehearsals: December 15–20
Performances: December 21–22 (four shows) at San Francisco Symphony
