Directions & Parking


Frost Amphitheater is located at 351 Lasuen Street, at the intersection of Lasuen Street and Roth Way on the Stanford University campus.


Paid parking lots will be operated for most Frost events. Parking may be purchased online in advance for the Galvez Lot, and cash only will be accepted in lots 9 & 10 on the day of the performance. Parking is $30 per vehicle. Please check back for more information.

Bay Area Transit

Stanford University is accessible by several transit agencies, making it possible to get to campus from just about anywhere. The Palo Alto Caltrain Station is a 20 minute walk from Frost. All performances will end in enough time for patrons to catch the Caltrain home northbound or southbound, with time to make connections to the BART station in Millbrae. What to Bring

Frost will be implementing a clear bag policy for all events at Frost Amphitheater.

Permitted items:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 12" x 6"
  • One-gallon clear plastic bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • Small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (no larger than 4.5”x6.5”), with or without a handle or strap (can be carried separately or within a plastic bag)
  • Empty, non-metal reusable water bottles (20 oz and under)
  • Stadium seats (cannot have legs) and cushions, snacks, and unopened waters 20 oz or less in a sealed, plastic bottle. Some shows may require decanting all water into cups upon entry. All fruit and vegetables must be sliced. At some shows the artist may request that no bottles be allowed into the venue.

Prohibited items:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Backpacks, purses, or any other bag not approved in the “clear bag” policy.
  • Liquids in non-factory sealed containers
  • Outside alcohol, cans or glass containers and cutlery or metal silverware of any kind.
  • Reusable water bottles over 20 oz.
  • Glass of any kind
  • Large Blankets (over 40x60”)
  • Structured chairs of any kind; tables; and umbrellas
  • Coolers, picnic baskets, barbecue grills
  • Strollers, wagons, scooters, skateboards, bicycles.
  • Animals (with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA)
  • Frisbees, balls, hula hoops, sporting equipment
  • Cameras with detachable lens, audio or video recording devices, GoPros, selfie sticks
  • Laser pointers
  • Totems, large signs (larger than 8.5x11”)
  • Bullhorns, noisemakers, speakers and instruments,
  • Smoking and vaping is not allowed anywhere in the venue


Food & Drink

Frost is excited to offer a full bar, including an exciting lineup of craft cocktails. Almanac and Fort Point Brewing Companies will be featured at Frost, along with Golden State Ciders. Stay tuned for wine offerings which will feature local vintners. Beat traffic and get to the show early to enjoy a beverage in “The Grove”, a gorgeous park-like food and beverage area! Food selections will feature charcuterie plates, sandwiches, bowls and salads all made with fresh, local ingredients.


Accessibility & Services


Improved accessible entry to Frost Amphitheater was a crucial element of the Frost renovation plan. Enhanced entryways and a pedestrian tunnel have been added at the main  entrance on the corner of Lasuen Street and Roth Way. Accessibility seating areas will be available for all performances through the normal purchase paths for Frost performances.

ADA Parking

ADA Parking is available  on Roth Way between Palm Drive and Lasuen Street.


Additional restrooms were constructed as part of the Frost renovation project. Ample restrooms are available near both main entrances to the venue.
