The Metropolitan League brings together classical music enthusiasts throughout the Bay Area to raise support for and awareness of the San Francisco Symphony and its education and outreach programs, which provide music education to more than 75,000 Bay Area children each year.
Members enjoy unique opportunities throughout the year to participate in various programs and special events that enrich their San Francisco Symphony experience.
Meetings are held in the evenings, every second Monday of the month, in the Green Room at Davies Symphony Hall. The short business meetings provide updates on League business and volunteer opportunities throughout the Symphony organization, and often feature a guest artist or speaker from the San Francisco Symphony or other major Bay area arts organizations.
