Join us at Davies Symphony Hall on November 6 for the San Francisco Symphony's vibrant Día de los Muertos concert and continue the celebration with the Día de los Muertos Fiesta reception and dinner.

Make this beloved event part of your family's Día de los Muertos celebrations this year.

Experience art installations throughout the orchestra lobbies of altars or ofrendas, created by local artists and curated by our longtime SF Symphony collaborator, Martha Rodríguez-Salazar; take photos with catrines and catrinas; and enjoy more family fun before the show. The concert–conducted by Enluis Montes Olivar and featuring traditional and contemporary Latin American music, with Flor Amargo ‘La Reina del Barrio’ and the San Francisco Symphony–starts at 2PM. The Fiesta follows at 4PM with an auction, reception, and seated dinner.

This fundraising event is presented by the San Francisco League of the Symphony’s Día de los Muertos Committee chaired by Sharon Seto. All proceeds benefit the Symphony and its myriad artistic, education, and community programs.

All Fiesta levels include pre-concert activities, performance and Fiesta.  To purchase by phone call 415-503-5351.

*Orders must be received by September 30 to be included in the printed concert program.

The San Francisco Symphony requires proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 for everyone ages 12 and up entering Davies Symphony Hall and attending the Fiesta. All patrons are required to wear a face mask while attending performances and post-concert events. These protocols are in accordance with policies enacted by the City and County of San Francisco and follow the advice of the San Francisco Symphony Health & Safety Task Force. Private/Family Foundations, and Corporate Foundations have been evolving. Individual donors are not able to accept benefits in return for contributions made from a Donor Advised Fund. In effect, this means the San Francisco Symphony is no longer permitted to offer benefits such as tickets to concerts/events and meals in exchange for such contributions. The San Francisco Symphony would be happy to accept payment directly from the individual/corporation for the published price of the event, and offer name recognition in programs and other materials based on the total amount received, including any additional gift from the Donor Advised Fund or Foundation. Please contact your Foundation, Donor Advised Fund, or other professional advisors for guidance on your specific situation.
