Biography

Marilyn Thompson earned her bachelor’s degree from the San Francisco Conservatory, was awarded a Fulbright grant to attend the Vienna Academy of Music, and received her master’s degree from Stanford University. She has performed in chamber concerts at Alice Tully Hall, New York’s 92nd Street Y, the Phillips Collection in Washington DC, and Boston’s Symphony Hall. She is a member of Trio Navarro and a former member of the Chamber Soloists of San Francisco. Ms. Thompson has taught at the San Francisco Conservatory, College of Holy Names, and UC Santa Cruz, and she is currently on the faculty of Sonoma State University.
