In the 2022–23 and 23–24 seasons, Beatrice Rana tours Europe with the Vienna Symphony and Academy of St Martin in the Fields; debuts with the Munich Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, and Rotterdam Philharmonic; and returns to the Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, New York Philharmonic, National Symphony, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, and London Philharmonic. In recent seasons has also performed with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Orchestra, and Los Angeles Philharmonic, and appeared at Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Barbican Centre, the Philharmonie de Paris, Vienna Konzerthaus, the Musikverein, Boston’s Symphony Hall, Walt Disney Hall, Hollywood Bowl, and the Kennedy Center.

Ms. Rana records exclusively for Warner Classics, to international acclaim. Her fifth and most recent album, recorded with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, features the concertos of Clara and Robert Schumann.

In 2013 Ms. Rana won the silver and the audience awards at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Two years earlier, at age 18, she won first prize and all special prizes at the Montreal International Competition. She began her musical studies at age four and earned her degree in piano under the guidance of Benedetto Lupo at the Nino Rota Conservatory of Music in Monopoli. She later studied with Arie Vardi in Hannover and again with Lupo at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia. She makes her San Francisco Symphony debut with these performances.
