Biography

Born in New York City, Clifford Ross (September 16 panelist) began his career as a painter and sculptor, before becoming involved with photography and other media. In 2002, he invented and patented his R1 camera, which allowed him to produce some of the highest resolution large-scale landscape photographs in the world. His work can be seen in the COAL+ICE exhibition.
