Tenor (Holy Fool)

Tenor Stanislav Mostovoy (Holy Fool) was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, to a family of musicians. He graduated from the Glinka Boy Choir School in 2000 and the Saint Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in 2005. Notable roles include Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Boyar Ivan Likov in The Tsar's Bride, the Holy Fool in Boris Godunov, the title role in Faust, and Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto. In 2012 Mr. Mostovoy joined the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company in Moscow and in 2014 joined the Tenors of the XXI Century project. These performances mark his San Francisco Symphony debut.
