Favorite composers: Brahms, Chopin, Beethoven, Fauré, Debussy, Britten, Barber, and Mozart

Favorite vocal works: Verdi, Requiem; Brahms, A German Requiem; Beethoven, Missa solemnis; Delius, Sea Drift
When I’m not working, what I enjoy doing most is: Working on our house, tuning pianos, listening to solo vocal artists

I recently read: Silence, Simplicity, and Solitude, by David A. Cooper; Bird by Bird, by Anne Lamott; The Piano Shop on the Left Bank, by Thad Carhart

On my CD player/iPod: The Spell of Yma Sumac; an extensive Bill Evans collection; a number of discs by Israel Kanakawiwo’ole; Rusty in Orchestraville, by Alan Livingston   
Favorite things to do in the Bay Area: We love to entertain out of town guests and show them the Napa and Sonoma wine regions, and the various sights in awesome area. I enjoy occasionally taking the long way home by way of the Great Highway to remind myself I am not in Minnesota any more
