Biography

Justin Genna (Dancer) is from Madison, Wisconsin where he trained under Jojean Retrum and Jason Cisler. He also studied at Virginia School of the Arts and with Houston Ballet. At the age of nineteen he joined the Milwaukee Ballet company where he danced for five years. Highlights of his time there include new works by Mauro de Candia (Something I Had in Mind) and Gabrielle Lamb (Manifold). Mr. Genna has also worked with San Francisco choreographers Amy Seiwert and Val Caniparoli. He recently finished his first year studying with American Conservatory Theater in the Master of Fine Arts program for acting. He makes his San Francisco Symphony debut with these performances.
