Biography

Asya Gulua received her initial musical training in her native Moscow at the Gnessin School of Music and immigrated to the United States in 1996, enrolling at the Interlochen Arts Academy. She holds degrees from the Juilliard School, Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, and the University of Oregon. She lives in Salem, Oregon, and frequently appeared in duo performances with her husband, pianist and composer Arsen Gulua.
