Kiera Duffy’s 2016-17 season includes the premiere of Missy Mazzoli and Royce Vavrek’s Breaking the Waves at Opera Philadelphia (which she also performs at the Prototype Festival in New York), Bach’s B minor Mass with Boston Baroque, and Honegger’s King David with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.

Last season, she made her debut with the Bergen Philharmonic in Mozart’s Mass in C minor, a work she also sang with the Jacksonville Philharmonic; and she performed Faur√©'s Requiem with the Houston Symphony and Ginastera’s String Quartet No. 3 with the Miro Quartet at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. She was also seen in selections from Mozart’s operas at Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival. Other recent highlights include Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire with the MET Chamber Ensemble at the Bard SummerScape Festival, and with the Chicago Symphony.

Kiera Duffy holds degrees in voice performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. A graduate of Westminster Choir College, she was a finalist in the 2007 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and is featured in the film The Audition, released on DVD by Decca. Ms. Duffy can be heard in a disc of songs by Richard Strauss, with pianist Roger Vignoles, on Hyperion Records. She is Associate Professor and Head of the Undergraduate Voice Studio at the University of Notre Dame. She made her San Francisco Symphony debut in 2010.
