Event Description

What brings you here? What happened? Where did you sleep last night? In terms harrowing and sardonic, emergency shelter intake form asks us to set aside our preconceptions surrounding the crisis of homelessness, and to open ourselves to the possibility that, in a world driven by inequity, we are all closer to economic precarity than we might like to believe. Anchored by four soloists beloved in new music and avant-pop spaces, ESIF also features a local community chorus whose members lived experienced bear witness to the subject matter. We are left to ask ourselves: How do we care for the most vulnerable among us?

Open Rehearsals are working rehearsals. The pieces rehearsed are at the conductor’s discretion.
