If I were not a professional singer, I might be: a conductor, stage director, voice teacher, composer—wait, I already do those things!

Favorite composers: Mozart, Puccini, Britten, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Beethoven, and on and on!

Favorite vocal works: La Bohème, Carmen, any vocal music by Mozart, Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer

When I’m not working, I enjoy: conducting and composing. I also love gardening.

Recent reading: a history of Jerusalem.

On my CD Player/iPod: John Bayless, Bach Meets the Beatles.

Favorite things to do in the Bay Area: I love to hike. There are so many amazing places to hike, so near to home, and it’s a great way to stay in shape.

Plus: I am currently working on a Requiem for my church choir, and I look forward to conducting Brigadoon this coming spring.
