Began singing: At age 2. My mom said that I sang before I spoke.
I was inspired to become a professional singer by: I won an international children's solo vocal competition and shortly after I started classical voice lessons at 14. I fell in love with classical vocal music and began my training.
If I were not a professional singer, I might be a: gymnist, tennis player or other focused sport that requires training and dicipline.
Favorite composers: Barber, Beethoven, Chopin, Copeland & Mozart
Favorite vocal works: Handel's Messiah, Orff's Carmina Burana & Bach's Magnificat.
This season I'm really looking forward to: Carmina burana because this beautiful piece is powerful and moving and we are singing it at the chorus concert, which is such a wonderful opportunity for the chorus to shine!
Most memorable SFS performances: Bartok's The Miraculous Mandarin because it was my first performance with the Symphony.
When I'm not working, what I enjoy doing most: walking, being in the sun, spending time with family & going to delicious restaurants in the Bay area.

On my CD player/iPod: Linda Eder, Cecilia Bartoli, Renee Fleming, Michael Buble, Mozart piano concertos, Enrico Caruso, Juan Diego Flores, Ray Charles, Stephen Sondheim & Whitney Houston.
Favorite things to do in the Bay Area: Going to Napa and tasting delicious wines, going to Monterey for the scenery and atmosphere, exploring the Ferry building in SF & visiting the beach at Bodega Bay.
Last thoughts: It is a dream come true to be singing with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and I couldn't be happier to be singing with this world-renowned chorus and symphony.
