Music school I attended:  Interlochen Arts Academy, Cleveland Institute of Music

Began playing music: At age 5 or 6

Musical inspirations:  pianist Arthur Rubinstein, harpist Alice Chalifoux

If I were not a professional musician, I might be a: Truck driver

Favorite composers: Wagner, Richard Strauss, Ravel

Favorite works featuring my instrument:  Ravel, Introduction and Allegro; Debussy, Danses sacrée et profane

When I’m not working, I enjoy:  Reading, studying American Sign Language, history, architecture

Favorite thing to do in the Bay Area:  Attend the annual San Francisco International Auto Show at the Moscone Center

Plus: I am proud and excited to be teaching at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I’m so grateful to be in the San Francisco Symphony!
