Silicon Valley League

The Silicon Valley League of the San Francisco Symphony was founded in 2001 by Peninsula residents who support and enjoy the San Francisco Symphony.  The League’s mission is to stimulate community service, support the Symphony in audience development, and raise funds to help the Symphony in outreach and educational programs that benefit people of all ages.

The League has established “Concerts for Kids” as its major community project.  Each season, more than ten League-member docents have accompanied busloads of school children from the Castro and Theuerkauf schools of Mountain View to Davies Symphony Hall.  In addition, League members enjoy a variety of social and musical events, music-oriented lectures and trips, and San Francisco Symphony concerts at Davies Symphony Hall.
