Junior Committee League

Since 1980, the Junior Committee of the San Francisco Symphony has supported the Symphony's community and education programs with the proceeds from its annual Deck the Hall family holiday event. Deck the Hall is a Bay Area tradition, consisting of a family concert in Davies Symphony Hall with festive children's activities and entertainment afterwards. The Committee also orchestrates the decoration and underwriting of the Christmas trees that grace the Hall throughout December and celebrates many of its Angel donors with a special event leading up to the concert.

Click here for more information about Deck the Hall.

The committee is comprised of approximately forty-five members and meets once a month, with the exception of the summer months. Members are from all parts of the Bay Area, with meetings generally held in San Francisco.  Membership is by invitation.

Please contact the Volunteer Council office at 415.503.5500 for more information or to become a member of the Junior Committee.
