San Francisco Symphony League
The mission of this 200-member League is to provide volunteer services and financial support to the Symphony by encouraging audience development and educational opportunities. The League takes a leadership role in major Symphony events such as the Opening Gala and the Black & White® Ball, and presents numerous League-specific events throughout the year.

On Saturday, April 25, the San Francisco League hosts "A Grand Affair with Gilbert & Sullivan" at the Sheraton Palace Hotel to herald the Symphony's semi-staged production of W.S. Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan's "Iolanthe," premiering at Davies Symphony Hall on Thursday, June 18.
The evening will include an elegant reception and premium silent auction followed by dinner and dancing in the Garden Court. Guests are encouraged to dress in black tie or as their favorite character from a Gilbert & Sullivan opera.
Under the leadership of Co-Chairs Sallie Huntting and Hazel Kawaja and San Francisco League President Judy Jorgensen, net proceeds of "A Grand Affair" benefit the Symphony and its community and education programs, including Concerts for Kids, or the nationally acclaimed Adventures in Music—bringing music education and appreciation to all school children in grades one through five in the San Francisco public schools.
Tickets are available for $250, $500, or $1,000. To purchase your ticket download this form or call the Symphony's Volunteer Council at 415.503.5500.
