Known for her work on Broadway, which has earned her four Tony Awards, and for her role on the hit ABC television series Private Practice, Audra McDonald is a unique force, blending a luscious, classically-trained soprano with an incomparable gift for dramatic truth-telling. The two-time Grammy® Award-winning singer returns to the San Francisco Symphony for an intimate evening of standards, favorite showtunes, classic songs from the movies, and original pieces written expressly for this extraordinary young artist who is at the height of her expressive powers.
