Experience an SFS concert in the making! Open Rehearsals offer audience members a unique perspective on the creative dynamic between orchestra and conductor. Each Open Rehearsal begins with 8:30am coffee and complimentary donuts followed by a half-hour informative talk at 9am. Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos have delighted audiences since their publication. Bach’s mastery of the concerto form and his virtuosic writing is evident in these masterpieces. Pay special attention to the spectacular harpsichord solo in Brandenburg No. 5.
Inside Music, an informative talk with Scott Foglesong free to ticketholders, begins one hour prior to rehearsal.Note: These are working rehearsals. The pieces rehearsed are at the conductor’s discretion.
