Grammy®- and two-time Tony® Award-winning singer and composer Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) will perform the world premiere of a suite of songs with the San Francisco Symphony from his latest work, Whisper House. The songs are from the forthcoming Whisper House musical, Sheik's follow-up to his score for the Tony-winning Broadway musical Spring AwakeningListen to music and watch videos of Duncan Sheik on his website.

Inside Music, an informative talk free to ticketholders, begins one hour prior to concerts.

Off the Podium, an informal Q&A session with the artists, begins immediately after the Apr 8 performance.

Please note: Rufus Wainwright's Five Shakespeare Sonnets, previously scheduled with the Symphony April 7-10, has been postponed until November 2010 due to a scheduling conflict.
