Opening Night Gala

The new season is launched with four musical delights: upbeat Delibes, Bernstein’s searing, sensual music from one of Broadway’s greatest shows, Rachmaninoff at his most brilliant, and a soloist renowned for his virtuosity and poetry.

This elegant black-tie evening begins with a pre-concert promenade at 7:30pm and continues with dancing and delicacies at fabulous after parties until midnight in the City Hall Rotunda and the Louise M. Davies Tent Pavilion. Enjoy the concert, and then complimentary wine, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts from San Francisco’s finest restaurants. Order early to guarantee your place.
