Beautiful Brass
Balsom Allison
Alison Balsom
Soloist Alison Balsom makes you re-think what you thought you knew about trumpets. With a gleam of brass, this British virtuoso re-interprets Haydn’s brilliant trumpet concerto. You’ll also enjoy two favorites usually heard at the holidays: Leopold Mozart’s adorable Toy Symphony, and the whimsical second act of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.

Meet Alison Balsom for an exclusive CD signing immediately following the concert at the Symphony store in the lobby.
