The San Francisco Symphony's all-Bernstein Carnegie Hall performance, broadcast on PBS's Great Performances, is now available on DVD through SFS Media. This DVD features music from West Side Story, Fancy Free, A Quiet Place, Mass and On the Town, with soloists Dawn Upshaw, Thomas Hampson, Yo-Yo Ma, Christine Ebersole, and vocal and drama students from The Juilliard School. In July it was nominated for a 2009 “Outstanding Special Class Program” Emmy® Award. The 61st Primetime Emmy® Awards air Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) live on CBS.
