Founded in 1988, Adventures in Music (AIM) is the San Francisco Symphony’s nationally acclaimed music education program which serves San Francisco’s public elementary schools.AIM reaches every single child in grades 1-5 throughout entire the school district.

AIM is provided at absolutely no cost to the schools.

AIM brings a series of multicultural curriculum-based musical experiences into every public elementary school. More than 1,000 music performances are presented to students each year. 

AIM provides curriculum, workshops for teachers, a workbook journal for each student, resources for each classroom, and a San Francisco Symphony concert at Davies Symphony Hall.

AIM is one of the most far-reaching community music education programs of any symphony orchestra in the world.
