John D. Goldman, President
Active in the community and philanthropic activities, Mr. Goldman formerly was the President of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma Counties, and the Peninsula. He is currently the Chair of the Stanford University Athletic Board and serves on the Board of Managers of Swarthmore College and on the board of I Have A Dream (IHAD) Foundation – East Palo Alto. Donato Cabrera, Assistant Conductor
Donato Cabrera joined the San Francisco Symphony (SFS) conducting staff in September 2009 as Assistant
Conductor of the San Francisco Symphony and Wattis Foundation Music Director of the San Francisco
Symphony Youth Orchestra (SFSYO). He works closely with SFS Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas

Ragnar Bohlin Small

Ragnar Bohlin, Chorus Director
Ragnar Bohlin, who assumed his post as Director of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus last March, served most recently as choir master of Stockholm’s Maria Magdalena Church. Mr. Bohlin has appeared regularly on Swedish radio with the Maria Magdalena Motet Choir, Maria Vocal Ensemble, and Swedish Radio Choir, and he has worked frequently with the Ericson Chamber Choir and with the Royal Philharmonic Choir in Stockholm. Herbert Blomstedt, Conductor Laureate
Herbert Blomstedt, Conductor Laureate of the San Francisco Symphony , was Music Director of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra from 1998-2005 and Chief Conductor of the NDR Sinfonie in Hamburg from 1996-1998. Maestro Blomstedt made his debut with the San Francisco Symphony in February 1984, in concerts that led immediately to his appointment as Music Director. Read more...
