The San Francisco Symphony has ten satellite groups, called Leagues, located throughout the Bay Area, which support the organization through their fundraising and community awareness activities. The Leagues are part of the Volunteer Council of the San Francisco Symphony. Each League has its own signature event, and most convene on a monthly basis for social, educational, philanthropic and music related meetings. League members are given opportunities to serve on various committees and the League’s board of directors.
Members pay a yearly membership fee and a variety of benefits, including discounted Symphony tickets and advance notice of special events such as the Opening Night Gala and Black & White Ball®.
