Driving to Davies Symphony Hall

From San Francisco International Airport (SFO)/Peninsula/South Bay 

  • Take U.S. 101 North, and exit at 9th Street.
  • Turn left off the exit ramp onto 9th Street.
  • Continue on 9th across Market Street onto Hayes Street (stay to the left on 9th).
  • Take Hayes to Franklin Street and turn right.
  • Drive one block on Franklin to Grove Street.
  • Turn right to drop off passengers at the main entrance to Davies Symphony Hall, or left to park in the Performing Arts Garage.

From the North Bay

  • Take U.S. 101 South to Lombard Street and continue to Van Ness Avenue.
  • Turn right on Van Ness and drive to the Civic Center.
  • Turn right on Grove Street, which is the first street past City Hall.
  • The Opera House is on the right and Davies Symphony Hall is on the left.
  • Continue on Grove to park in the Performing Arts Garage.

From East Bay/Bay Bridge

  • Take Interstate 80 West to Civic Center/9th Street Exit.
  • Continue straight off the exit ramp to 9th Street.

  • Turn right on 9th Street.
  • Continue on 9th across Market Street onto Hayes Street (stay to the left on 9th).
  • Take Hayes to Franklin Street and turn right.
  • Drive one block on Franklin to Grove Street.
  • Turn right to drop off passengers at the main entrance to Davies Symphony Hall and at the Opera House, or left to park in the Performing Arts Garage.
