Davies Symphony Hall

Davies Symphony Hall is located at 201 Van Ness Avenue in the Civic Center area of San Francisco. The Box Office is conveniently located on Grove Street between Van Ness Avenue and Franklin Street. There is an additional public entrance above the Box Office which can be accessed by walking up the stone steps on either side of the Box Office. The entrance at Van Ness Avenue and Hayes street is no longer a public entrance.

Public Transit

Davies Symphony Hall is easily accessible from Muni Metro (Van Ness or Civic Center stations) and BART (Civic Center station). Construction of the Van Ness Improvement Project, which affects bus stops and sidewalk access near Davies Symphony Hall, is expected to continue through 2018. Visit 511.org, sfmta.com or bart.gov for route or schedule information. Parking Near Davies Symphony Hall

In a partnership with SFMTA and the Civic Center Community Benefit District group, arts presenters in the area are glad to bring back the $5 Event Rate program at the Civic Center Parking Garage. Please click here for a list of the dates and times that the Civic Center Garage is offering this flat rate between late September and the end of December 2017. It is important to note that the Performing Arts Garage Rate on these evenings will be $20.

Chariot

The San Francisco Symphony continues to partner with Chariot, a local transportation provider, in order to offer complimentary shuttles to and from the Civic Center BART station for select concerts.

BART Loop: Civic Center BART to Davies Symphony Hall

San Francisco Symphony patrons can take a shuttle from the Civic Center/UN Plaza Station at Grove Street and Hyde Street to the San Francisco Symphony Box Office (201 Van Ness Avenue) one hour before and one hour after performances. This shuttle will be available for all DSH Classic Concerts in the 2017–18 season, unless otherwise noted.

Transit advisory:
Please be aware that the pickup location will remain on the sidewalk at approximately 9 Grove Street although the escalator exiting the BART station at Grove and Hyde is currently under construction.

Bicycles

Racks are available on Grove Street, near the corner of Franklin.  Please provide your own lock.
