We strive to make your concert-going experience enjoyable start to finish—from the moment you purchase your tickets to your departure from Davies Symphony Hall after a concert. This fall, the San Francisco Symphony will partner with Chariot, a local transportation provider, and offer two types of shuttle services for our patrons.
For select concerts from September through November, 2016 Chariot shuttles will circulate to and from the Civic Center BART station and the front steps of the War Memorial Opera House. Patrons can ride this shuttle at no additional cost before and after select concerts.
The second service for select concerts is a chartered shuttle leaving from the Palo Alto Caltrain station and arriving at the War Memorial Opera House. Patrons must reserve roundtrip seats on this service at the cost of $30 per person.
Look for the blue Chariot vans on the listed dates below. Depending on the program’s success, the San Francisco Symphony may extend service to additional concert dates in the 2016-2017 season.
Starting September 9, San Francisco Symphony patrons can take a shuttle from the Civic Center/UN Plaza Station at Grove and Hyde to the War Memorial Opera House (301 Van Ness Avenue) 90 minutes before and 45 minutes after each performance. During this time, the shuttle service will run every 20 minutes.
This service will be available for the following performances:
No reservation required. This service is offered free of charge.
Take this shuttle service from the Palo Alto Caltrain station (at the corner of Lytton Avenue and Alma Street) to attend any Saturday or Sunday concert from September 9 through November 23 at Davies Symphony Hall. The shuttle will depart two hours before each performance and drop off patrons on the front steps of the War Memorial Opera house at 301 Van Ness Avenue, only one block away from Davies. After the concert, patrons can meet the Chariot shuttle on the front steps of the Opera House for the return trip to the Palo Alto station.
Cost is $30 per person for a round-trip. Reservations are required. Find out more and reserve a seat.
